LightMAT Leadership
The LightMAT Consortium is managed by co-directors from Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and the Department of Energy (DOE) Vehicle Technologies Office. The LightMAT directors are available to work with an industry partner, matching the industry research interest with a specific laboratory capability.

Laboratory Leadership
Each laboratory associated with the LightMAT Consortium is represented by a technical expert who is the primary point of contact to the industrial partner throughout the application, contracting and execution phases of the Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA).
In collaboration with the industrial partner, the laboratory technical expert identifies and leads a team of scientists internal to the laboratory to develop an industry-led application that includes the proposed scope of work, project objectives and timeline. Upon selecting the application for award, the contents of the application are incorporated into the CRADA. The application, award, and reporting process has been streamlined to start the process within 60 days after submission of the application, providing near-term benefit to U.S.-based industries. A list of technical experts representing each of the participating laboratories is presented below.
