The Lightweight Materials Consortium (LightMAT) is Seeking Proposals from Industry to Partner with National Laboratories on Lightweight Material Innovations
LightMAT has announced its annual funding opportunity for 2022 for the automotive industry to leverage technical assistance from U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) national laboratories. LightMAT is seeking proposals that identify key technical challenges limiting the use of lightweight materials that can further improve the energy efficiency of conventional and electric vehicles. LightMAT 2022 Direct Finding Opportunity application period closed on August 15, 2022.
